We are coming down in June for 10-12 days and going to Sea World to swim with the dolphins, we are going to stay in Orlando area for a few days and wondered if anyone has a suggestion on a hotel with a water slide and nice pool? Can be outside of Orlando a bit too.

Any input appreciated!!

Some of the more pricey disney hotels have waterslides. Check out the disney resort website. The nick hotel has a huge waterslide. They play games with the kids in the pool and watch movies from the pool also. They have character breakfasts for guest only and kid suites. Prices are around $300 a night. I have'nt stayed there but a friend did. They were'nt too impressed with the service and cleanliness, but the kids had a blast.

I've also heard that the Nick hotel is a blast for the kids but was a little dirty. It's a shame. They will eventually lose business.

I agree with the Nick Hotel. It has amazing pools with slides that is basically a water park. They also offer shuttles to Sea World and the prices are better then the Disney Parks. I will be staying their on Mother's day because they had a great deal for Florida Residents so I can tell you more about it after that.

For something cheaper there is the Clarion Resort & Waterpark here in Kissimmee on 192 near the Turnpike. The prices start under $100 a night. The waterpark was under construction the last time I checked but it should be opened by now and it looks pretty cool. But you never know about the quality of room you will get when you stay at anything here in Kissimmee on 192 so you would need to do your research a bit.
Good luck and have fun - Discovery Cove is one of the best things in Central Florida!

You're welcome! I used to come to Orlando for business before we moved here. I've stayed here twice, it is really nice!

Enjoy!

Although its not a hotel, it is a water park, the Wet N Wild on International Drive is awesome. I never get tired of going there. Its such a blast.
