Waterford Lakes area in East Orlando is a nice place to live. It's 20 minutes to the airport during non-rush hour times.

Default Your Move to Orlando

Hi there,

I would recommend Hunters Creek area. It's about 15 minutes drive to Airport.

Hunters Creek has everything for a family. Great neighbourhoods Schools, all A grade. West Creek Elementary won 5 Star Award for 2005/6 and was voted one of the best Schools in Central Florida. Hunters Creek has great walking / biking trails, parks for kids, dog parks, tennis court, basketball courts, you name it, it's here. A nice friendly neighbourhood with Shops on the door step and only 5 mins to the 417.

Good luck with your move.

If you need any further advice about Hunters Creek, please don't hesitate to p.m me.
Byee Michelle.

Oviedo would be a smart choice to move. rather than moving directly in Orlando.

thanks for all this info. we are heading down in a week to check things out and hopefully find a place. With the current real estate market, we are considering the option of renting. This will also give us the chance to make sure we really like the area we choose. We are really leaning towards Oviedo and Lake Mary. We will check out the Waterford area. Good schools is really important and from checking the sites on the internet these areas area prove to have strong public programs. Correct me if Im wrong.

I live in Avalon Park and really love it over here. The houses are affordable in my opinion and close to highways, shopping and A schools. I'm also a Realtor with Exit Real Estate Professionals (407-963-9894) so I can help you if you want me to mail you information or email it on what's going on over here. Also, my website is www.TopOrlandoAgent.com.

Default RE: Sweetwater, Seminole County, Lake Brantley School District

We want to stay around the $350k range, older established communities are option as this way we have an idea of the resident demograhics. Any help or insight is appreciated. We looked at Lakeland, now we are investigating Oviedo area.

Thanks!
After coming back to the Central Florida area seven years ago, with now middle and high school aged children, and I traveling alot, living in Longwood, West Seminole County (Zip Code 32779) proved the best choice for everything. We are in the Lake Brantley School district, one of the five in the State. Most of the people are from the Mid-West. We are back up to the Wekiva State Park, so the neighborhood (Sweetwater) is quite and mature, not in the age of the people, but in the environment (trees etc.), and there has been no further development for over 20 years. In most new neighborhoods they [the builders] have to plant the enviroment, in West Seminole County, it is natural, and beautiful. You are less that 15 minutes from Costco, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, hospitals and many, many restaurants in Lake Mary, Longwood, and Altamonte Springs, and you are 27 miles from the airport. Check it out.
