Pete C, thats exactly what I was thinking of lmao my mistake. Once again thanks to all for the help.

Now I just need to find decent apartments around the area. I will not be dorming since my roomate is not attending Valencia, so an apartment is a must. Im thinkin Winter Park Villages since they go as low as $545.

Apologize for going a bit OT, but how the heck do you get to DT Orlando in 5 mins??

It's only around 5 miles, give or take, from Winter Park to Downtown. Depending on where you are starting from, I guess 10 minutes is more accurate.

Be sure to go to apartmentratings.com and look at some of the comments people leave about the apartments. Winter Park is wonderful, but some of the cheaper apartments are old, so they continuously have maintenance issues.

Downtown Disney is cool, but Downtown Orlando is great. No matter what type of crowd or music you are into, there is something there to do on a Friday and Saturday.
