Lake Forest, Markham Woods Road, Lake Markham Road, Longwood Markham Road and all in between is Sanford and has some of the nicest homes around.

I live in the area and yea back in the day when Lake Forest was on its own out there it was tough but today it's in the thick of things.

I live in the Orlando Metro area. I have lived in Oviedo , Lake Buena Vista , East Orlando, and Altamonte Springs. "'UPSCALE NEIGHBORHOODS" and I have been a victim to or witnessed crime from all races and classes of people. So to answer your question Orlando as a whole has it problems. Just use common sense. Lock your doors, don't leave your valuables in plain site, and be aware of your surroundings. Any city large enough to be called a city has it's problems.
