Golden Corral Coming Soon in Clermont!
The Golden Corral is coming soon to Clermont! Are you guys happy, upset, don't care?
I think they have a great breakfast and some pretty good food. I just hope it stays clean.

Blech. To each his own, but it does nothing for me. I'd rather get a nice high end place (think Season's 52, Capital Grill, etc.) than another low end hash-slinging type of place. We've already got Denny's, Bob Evans, Friendly's, and Cracker Barrel. Do we really need another one like them? I don't think so.

Way back I had gone to a Golden Corral in Manassas VA and had a good experience, at least it was passable. I went one time to an Orlando outlet and I could not stomach it. In this category I much prefer Cracker Barrel. I agree with you Annerk, if we are going to get more chains I am not sure why we do not get another PF Changs or Cheesecake Factory, or something higher end. I am hoping if the town center in Lake Nona ever comes that it includes some of these.

I love that southern fried food. It's perfect for Lake Co. Those high end restaurants wouldnt do as well as place like Bob Evans and Golden Coral.

Maybe you've missed the many million dollar homes in Clermont. There is money in the area, people tend to not flaunt it like they do in other areas. There are a lot of upper middle and upper income people in the area who would love to have a nice restaurant close by. We tend to eat home a lot because Sand Lake is too far to go a couple times a week.
