Sure, I'd be happy to tell you what I know...

Oh, and let me tell you about JetBlue in Orlando who ASH is singing praises for. I know the inside skinny on many companies because I'm very inquisitive, know many people, and think open communication is wonderful. JetBlue in Orlando hired my friend from New York who had been there for 14 years. In Orlando there's always HOOPS. They make her go through intense training of a completely different kind than up north, passing tests under alot of pressure while doing training. This is for a TICKET AGENT position and then although she has 14 years, mind you..,they make her work the ramp first throwing luggage for up to a year. OH FOR $9.00 an hour. Imagine that....

Oh, my, how awfull! They actually pay your friend to learn to do her job, test her to make sure she is competent, and then make her work for a a competitive salary!!

This information actually gives me faith in Jeb Blue that they actually know what they are doing and take their business seriously. That was good information!

I'm all for training and such, but $9 an hour is not a "competitive salary".... BTW at 40 hours a week for ALL 52 weeks that's roughly $18,700 a year.
