I'm looking to buy a condo in the Orlando area. I am looking for a clean and safe community but I want a community with a larger then average community pool. I'm looking for more of the resort style living. I do not want just the average pool.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Agree'd Downtown Condo's. Pools aren't really "resort" class but the good one's are pretty large and have a view. Best pools and gyms (excluding those you can only rent in) are found in the major Condo buildings like The Vue, Paramount, Waverly, 101 Eola, 530 Central, Star Tower, Sanctuary, and probably a few other's that have slipped my memory at the moment. (solaire's pool is "eh" IMO)...and in College park the Wellesly is pretty nice.

But all these downtown condo's can be pricey depending on what you're looking for. We'd have to know what area of Orlando you wanted to stay within too. You can find 50K condo conversions speckled all around the area that are kind of "resort" in their clubhouse area but the unit's are basically apartments, and you can find million dollar condo's as well second to none in Winter Park, Dr. Phillips, College Park, Downtown, Lake Mary, Etc....

Downtown is very nice. Not sure what type of job you have, but Downtown condos are close to corporate America jobs, hospitals etc.. But like GregTraub mentioned, very pricey. Im not sure how far you mind being away from the city itself. But I lived in the suburb of Longwood, Sabal Point Community where there are beautiful condos, with stainless steel appliances, garages to rent, excellent school system. But this area is about 25min away from the city of Orlando itself. Just a thought.
