I'd definately say the garage. You don't need the sun or heat outside beating down on it.

Garage.

I would never put a freezer outside. So many things can go wrong; kids playing - unplug the freezer by accident, stolen goods, the weather temps, dampness - the exterior may turn black.

Is the outside patio covered? It would be better if it is.

The garage is a terrible place to keep a refrigeration unit unless it is insulated and air conditioned, most aren't.

Freezers and refrigerators depend on heat dissipating form their coils. A garage in the Florida summer can be so hot that the air surrounding the coils will be almost as hot as the coils making the process very inefficient. Additionally, heat moves from where there is more to where there is less. The fridge/freezer is always fighting this. The hot garage makes it more of a challenge because there is a lot of hot air surrounding that small insulated box.
