Considering living in an upscale apartment complex in Metrowest. Easy access to the 408, I-4, and the Florida Turnpike. Close to shopping & attractions as well. Is it worth it?

Some parts of MW are still nice. But its close to problem areas and about 2-3 years ago, MW as a whole took a massive hit when it came to crime. It was very rampant and the City was unprepared to deal with it. Its much better now. But there are a lot of foreclosures there and it has effected the area as well.

this response is on point....look towards the area by lake Debra drive and S. Hiawasee...that's a nice area....most areas on a map that are south of railegh street and left of Kirkman road are good...here is a google view of the lake debra area>
