Default LARGE Dog Friendly places to live

Can someone please help direct me to apartments or townhomes that accept large breed dogs? It's a little (by a little I mean very) frustrating to go through the sites seeing "pet friendly" only to also see weight limits or (the dreaded) breed restrictions. I have a German Shepherd/Akita mix ~100lbs.

Thanks

I would suggest looking into homes. I know I don't have issues for large, behaved dogs for the places I manage but it will be a few weeks before of ny vacancies,

Thank you for your response. A house may not be possible for me right now (but I know next to nothing about real-estate, so I could be wrong). I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Check out The Park at Vineridge apartments. They take any kind of dog here. I have a pitbull and they could care less

Try Park North at Cheney Place. They are private owned condiminiums in the uptown section of downtown. I lived there for a year with my Rotti. The downside is they are a bit expensive. We paid $800 for a box of a 1 bedroom. The Park at Vineridge is also a great place. I never lived there, but i did tour it and almost moved there. I would also check out the houses for rent on Craigslist. A lot of people are renting their homes for little of nothing these days. I rented a 4 bedroom house for just $900 a month, and they didn't care about my "vicious" dog.

Thanks to both of you. I'm in daytona beach now (made the drive from jersey in 14 hours!). I'll be diving into your suggestions tomorrow!
