It got close at the end. Overall we played like amatures today, I know we can do better than that. Oh well, can't wait till next game. Go Magic!

The Magic just played awful the first 3 quarters. Boston's defense was incredible and gave the Magic very few good looks the entire game. I am proud in the fact that the Magic were down over 20 and managed to pull the game back within 3-4 points but the effort came a little to wait. Nelson played decent, Vince played well, and JJ & Marcin played well off the bench. Hopefully the Magic get their heads together and play all 4 quarters on Tuesday the way they played the 4th quarter today.

I had a bbq for the game yesterday but barely ate a nibble. Needless to say after the game I lost my appetite. But it's a 7 game series for a reason.

BELIEVE!!!

Today i was at a red light at the intersection of University and Dean. While waiting I noticed the car in front of me had two magic logo magnets on it, Three cars passed through the intersection with magic flags, and two cars on the other side waiting at there light had magic flags. By the time I got home I passed several more flags, signs, and magnets on cars/buildings. Not to mention all the people I've seen wearing magic gear. Even all the schools have "go magic" on there message boards beneath the school signs. What great support. Go Magic!

Game 2 tonight will be the best indicator of how the series (and consequently our season) will turn out. I truly expected the Magic to loose game 1 although I shared the same hope and disgust/disappointment as everyone here when they started to fall behind.

The reason I think they lost game 1 is simple, effort wasn't there which made hitting their trademark 3 and playing the inside out game impossible.

If they play tonight like their season is on the line then we should see a much better result barring anything astonishing from all of the Celtic starters.

Should we win game 2, we then head to Boston with a chance to steal at least 1, if not both of the games there. The longer this series goes the more it favors the Magic due to age and lack of stamina for Boston.

End of the 3rd quarter of Game 2 as I write this, and we're down by 8. Carter's wrist is injured, Lewis still isn't hitting many shots, and Howard is probably going to foul out before the end of the game (judging by the way these refs are calling the game). Things aren't looking too good for the magic, but we did have a decent comeback in game one. 12 minutes to go, Blue and White Ignite!!!!
