Thanks everyone for the imput! It looks like renting for while is the best way to go and I do believe that is what we will do. nb-mitch - the Va ( Veterans Administration) medical center is on Raymond St- I believe it is in the downtown area. How did you like living in Celebration? We have looked into it and buying was not an option but renting may be ... However, I think it would be a bit of a long drive for hubby to work everyday. I also heard that the school ( my kids would be in the elementary) is not that great anymore.
I have heard so many mixed reviews but I dont believe any of them were from anyone who actually lived there! I would love to hear how your experience was! I am sorry to hear about you buying when you do - I hope you can hold out until the market starts turning around. Right now I am looking into the Avalon Park area and maybe windermere area because I hear they are nice neighborhoods with good schools. Are there any other areas that anyone would reccommend?

Thanks again everyone!

Julie

Hi, my name is Erin Campbell. As a licenced Realtor with Keller Williams in that area, the Lake Nona area is VERY desireable and homes are still selling like hotcakes. The distressed market numbers unfortunately are still coming from those who bought homes from 2005-2007 at a peak that we probably will not reach again for a very long time. If you were to buy now, I am possitive that in that area if you buy for the right price, you will atleast get your money back when you sell(as long as the condition is kept up of coarse) whichever one you choose, rent or buy, I do suggest going with the protection of a professional company like mine. We can help with renting or buying so any questions, email me at ecampbell329@gmail.com or call me at (407)683-2742. I look forward to hearing from you!
