I recently took a position in the Orlando area, and was looking to get some recommendations on where to look for rental property, I was looking to rent for about 6 months so I can figure where I would want to buy.

I really did not want more then a 30min drive, I would also like it to be on the safer side, with newer homes (built 2000 or newer)

I do not have kids so school is not an issue.

any recommendations?

thanks

I don't think either of those zip codes are good neighborhoods. One is near/in Pine Hills which people call Crime Hills, also with traffic it will take you about 45 minutes to get to East Orlando

Agreed, stay away from Pine Hills. Oviedo is probably your best option, it's a very nice area. It's in the northeast part of town, only about 10 minutes from UCF and 25 minutes from downtown.

Based off all the recommendations Oviedo looks to be the place to look at, thanks
