If you had to give up one of your 5 senses for 24 hours, which would you chose ?Smell

Why did you chose that one ? Because I have a lot of housecleaning to do today and would rather not smell the cleansers and wake up tomorrow to a fresh smelling house

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing that had you saying "That was the best $_____ I ever spent" a cd I bought and had signed by the artist for a friend that couldnt make a concert with me.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever gone:
Strawberry picking- only in my own garden
Blueberry picking- no
Apple Picking- yes at Apple hill

Just for Fun:

Do you call them Sneakers or Tennis shoes ? Tennis shoes

How many houses are in your neighborhood ? 6-8 ( rural, I only see driveways in some cases

How many times have you moved in your life ? 15x

Can you or have you ever tried to do any Magic Tricks ? sure when I was a kid...

Off to go make PB ch chip cookies in honor of the day and as a reward for when I finish my cleaning

Hey all. I slept from 7am to 3pm today. -_- I'm ready for the day, is it ready for me?

Today's Question:

If you had to give up one of your 5 senses for 24 hours, which would you chose ?
Taste, or smell.
Why did you chose that one ?
Taste, cause I don't eat all that much and don't really like to, and what better excuse to not eat than not having a sense of taste. I could definitely do without it. And smell cause really, it isn't so important. I could go a day without smelling easy.

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing that had you saying "That was the best $_____ I ever spent"
Nothing I can think of off the top of my head.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever gone:
Strawberry picking
Kinda, when I was a baby I was brought along but I couldn't, you know, like walk or pick or anything.
Blueberry picking Same as strawberry picking.
Apple Picking Nope, I don't think so. I could've been brought along for that too but it's not like I'd remember. I had to be told about the other two.

Just for Fun:

Do you call them Sneakers or Tennis shoes ?

Sneakers.
How many houses are in your neighborhood ?
Ummm, I am not counting that, lol. Hundreds? Thousands? What do you consider a neighborhood? Either way, it's way more than I could count.
How many times have you moved in your life ?
Well like 12 times I guess, and I'm only 19. And that's not counting some of the schools I was "sent away" to.
Can you or have you ever tried to do any Magic Tricks ?
I wanted to learn a simple one like a coin trick, just to know one, but no, none.

How many times have you moved in your life ? - I'm always moved by the questions of the day.. - I'd say about 9, the last time was in 1998 when I bought my house.

Hello Karla and all. It's not morning anymore, not even on the west coast.......we are having a dinner party tonight, so I've been busy in the kitchen today and this is the first chance for 'a break'...

Good morning everyone
Happy Saturday

It is going to be another scorcher today in NEFL 96 with a heat index of 106
My bosses pool is looking pretty inviting !!! Might have to dangle my feet in it when I go over today
It's chilly here today......June Gloom....

But before I can do that I have to ask

Today's Question:

If you had to give up one of your 5 senses for 24 hours, which would you chose ? The sense of taste or smell.

Why did you chose that one ? Over the decades, whenever I've had a bad cold, I've had neither of these senses and I have managed to survive.... But even when you are sick, you want to watch tv, so I'd need my sight.....LOL I read the tv's at the Y when I am on the exercise bike, and sometimes people talk too fast on regular tv shows, (they don't talk too fast on the news shows), and I cant' keep up......(it would also help to wear my reading glasses....LOL)....anyway, I'd want to keep my hearing..... And I want to keep the sense of touch....

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing that had you saying "That was the best $_____ I ever spent" Beats me. Maybe when we went to the Tina Turner concert last year.....that was worth it! She is still one of the sexiest entertainers out there and at age 70, she still rocks!

Bonus Question:

Have you ever gone:
Strawberry picking I was raised in the San Joaquin Valley, breadbasket of the world. Yep, I've picked strawberries and made jam about 3 million times growing up....
Blueberry picking Nope. For the most part, they are in Oregon and Maine and I have never lived there.
Apple Picking Yep, yep, yep! Many times!

If it is grown in California, I have picked it; canned it, frozen it, dried it, whatever.....

Just for Fun:

Do you call them Sneakers or Tennis shoes ?

How many houses are in your neighborhood ? Oh, I dunno, about 50.

How many times have you moved in your life ? In my married life, 6. 2 apartments and 4 homes. Growing up, just twice, and my mom still lives in the same house where we were raised.

Can you or have you ever tried to do any Magic Tricks ? Nope, not me....I'm not slick enough. According to my husband, I just know how to make money disappear.
