No. But the "legal" ones are so anemic that no self-respecting adult would call those fireworks. But we're never home for the 4th, anyway.

I love fireworks. I get so excited. I'm like a little kid.

I've gone to them 3-4 times a year every year of my lie and never tired of them. And I'll be heading to the National Mall once again this year, ready to enjoy them again.

I'm not a fan of individuals shooting off fireworks, however. They're not that exciting and I saw a kid get badly hurt once. Also, they can make a big mess and start fires.

We don't buy Piccolo Pete's because I have been perfecting that sound for years and I'm very good with it.
I prefer to stay home with the kids after buying hundreds of dollars of legal fireworks and lighting them all night. Never gets old for me.

I went "fireworks" shopping, yesterday, for the first time, in 30 years. I was amazed @ the 10 yr old kid, who was working the stand, with his father. I think that little kid had "tested" everything, on the shelves.

I guess the laws are different in each state but I was told you had to be 18 years of age to work in a fireworks stand in California.
