I would like to meet the person whose idea it was to design a certain local highway the way it is,and ask them "What the heck were you thinking ? It's such a clusterf*** and accident prone area! To get where you need to go you literally drive up the "on ramp" (which isn't a ramp) and immediately cut across four lanes of oncoming traffic (from right to left).
Now they're talking of ripping out all the on/off ramps there and putting in a giant roundabout/traffic circle to make it safer, but doing so would close off a major part of the highway for most local people.
