Yet at the same time I see articles that say fruits and vegetables no longer have the same amount of nutrients they once did. So you NEED to take vitamins to supplement them. I don't know which magazines to believe anymore.
Seems like you just can't win, and if I spend time worrying about it then the worry will kill me.
This is why I just sorta "split the difference" and take a couple of multi-vitamins a week, no more, no less. I don't think they really KNOW what we should do or not do. Kinda like when my son was a baby, 25 years ago, we were authoritatively told to put the baby to bed on their stomach. Now young mothers are authoritatively told to put the bed to bed on its back! Will it be on the side 10 years from now? Who knows!
I was wondering the same thing...then I thought perhaps they made a list for stuff most people may have in their kitchen on a regular basis. I don't see how spinach wouldn't pick up extra vitamins by being frozen.
