Did you ever think of electronics or appliances as male & female ?

I know I refer to cars, boats, planes, and things like that as female, largely because I grew up hearing them referred to as a she. Most boats had a woman's name. Electronics or appliances? I don't think I've given it a thought.

How many different denominations of "paper money" are in your wallet right now ?

*Surprisingly enough, for me anyway, I think I had some of every denomination, but nothing greater than a $20, in my wallet this weekend. I knew MR Rdslots and I were going to be out-and-about with my sister and husband who were here for a weekend's visit, so I made sure I had some cash on-hand. Usually, I just use my debit card, but not knowing where we might end up, I thought cash might be a safer bet.

Last time you got lost while driving has been a considerable time ago, as it makes me too anxious when it happens.
I always make sure I have directions, and follow them carefully. If I don't think I can get myself somewhere, I just don't go. Map Quest is my friend!

Croquet

In just the past few years, I have seen boxes of croquet games appearing in little off-beat stores, and in catalogs, and have been pleasantly surprised. Growing up, we didn't own a croquet set, but there was one at my Grandma Daisy's and at my aunt's home, and we always enjoyed getting a few kids together and playing a game.

Mashed potatoes. YUM.

Weirdest mashed food I have ever seen or tried was just this past week when I met a friend at an Indian restaurant, and for dessert, there was a mashed carrot dish.
Too, too sweet for me. Didn't even taste like carrot.

Just to set the record straight, it was not I who was supposed to do the QOTD guest hosting..........I was just going to post it because it got to be later and later and we were all "jones-ing" for it. I know I was!!
