I thought so too. I think it's the name but then she mentioned something about chocolate on one of her posts and gave herself away!
It's also the way she expresses herself. She is a tough cookie not girly like me.
Back on Topic (I'm afraid plsOldTimer will close the thread): I miss my summer as a kid when I didn't have to work or go to school!
I'm still kidding plsOldTimer!

You are so funny!
I remember Bosco (I'm from NJ though)...we also used to eat this other chocolate, Nutella, but it wasn't syrup, it came in a jar like marshmallow fluff (yuck)...Bosco was great though.

How about click clacks does anyone remember click clacks?
How about the footsie, remember the footsie? You put a ring around your ankle and there's a ball on a string and it's spins and you jump over it.
How about those flying saucer looking candies that tasted like communion?

The flying saucers were nasty!!! They tasted like old dirty powder with a touch of mint or something.
I never heard the term "footsie" but the kids now have those, they're called Skip Its. I bashed up my ankle with one trying to be cool and beat my daughter's count. I forgot, I'm too old to be cool, I'm just "mom" or "oh, that's my mother" now.

I know what candies you are talking about and you described them perfectly those look like communion and taste exactly like what you said. YUK
You may be too young to remember these candies, these actually look like flying saucers and they tasted exactly like communion.
Yeah I had a footsie in 1968 I think it was, I was born in 62 I'm an old lady
