Though I don't use it, I know only one "symbol" in the sign language, but I don't think I'm allowed to show it here...  |

I am trying to learn a few signs to communicate with the 4 year old daughter of friends who was deaf. She has just had a Cochlear implant and can hear now but it will take her a while to learn to communicate "properly" . I think it's rather fun and I am now quite proficient with signs for Hippo, Giraffe,cuddles, Teddy Bear etc... Really useful !  |

I only learned the letters of the alphabet when I was in elementary school. My 5 year old sons just learned to sign their alphabet in pre-K last year....they helped refresh my memory.

I know the entire alphabet in sign language and some words too. But that's about all. I never could get into it a lot as a kid.

I dont know it but my little brother & sister learned it in elementary school. I wish i knew though!
