Today's Question(s):

Lets talk about beds

What style and size of mattress do you all have:
Standard ?
Pillowtop ? full size.
Memory foam type ?
Sleep number(air filled) type ?
Waterbed ?

Likes and or dislikes of your mattress ?
It's really soft, since it's a pillow top, but it's not very supportive. If there's two people on it then the heaviest person sinks to the middle and the lighter one (like me) gets stuck with a tiny portion of the mattress.
It's great for lounging on though, like when I'm reading.

How old is your mattress
A few years. When my mother got married last year and moved into her new house she gave me her bed and mattress, since I only had a tiny twin sized bed.

Does your bed have:
Just a Headboard ?
Matching headboard & Foot board ?
Just a frame ?

Bonus Question:

I love shopping for books but shopping for groceries and things I need eh not so much ?

Extra Credit Question:

Would you rather:
Mow the lawn or vacuum the house ?
Go bowling or play golf ? (neither)
Go dancing or sing karaoke ? (neither)
Wash the house windows or wash and wax your car ?
Have a full time cook or housekeeper ?
Driver or passenger ?

Just for Fun:

When you were little did you ever use your bed as a trampoline ?
Yes! My brother and I used to pretend we were superheroes and launch ourselves off the nearby bookcase onto the bed while shouting superhero catchphrases. We broke it a few time too.

Are you older or younger than the TV Show "The Brady Bunch" ?
Much younger, but I still liked watching it when I was a kid.

Morning, folks!

Lets talk about beds

What style and size of mattress do you all have:
Standard ?
Pillowtop ?
Memory foam type ? This one.
Sleep number(air filled) type ?
Waterbed ?

Likes and or dislikes of your mattress ? Too small to fit two people and a dog, lol. Otherwise pretty comfy. I added some inches of foam memory to make it even softer.

How old is your mattress? No idea.

Does your bed have:
Just a Headboard ? A headboard.
Matching headboard & Footboard ?
Just a frame ?

Bonus Question:

I love shopping for specialty foods but shopping for anything else eh not so much ?

Extra Credit Question:

Would you rather:
Mow the lawn or vacuum the house ? Vacuum the house.
Go bowling or play golf ? Bowling.
Go dancing or sing karaoke ? Sing.
Wash the house windows or wash and wax your car ? House windows.
Have a full time cook or housekeeper ? A full-time housekeeper would enable me to cook. I love cooking but I don't have the energy cause I'm so exhausted after housekeeping.
Driver or passenger ? Driver! Lol, no. Passenger. I like that the responsibility lies entirely not in my hands.

Just for Fun:

When you were little did you ever use your bed as a trampoline ? No.

Are you older or younger than the TV Show "The Brady Bunch" ? After. I wasn't alive in the 1970's.

Today in History:
1682 - William Penn sailed from England. He later established the colony of Pennsylvania
1901 - Hubert Cecil Booth patents vacuum cleaner
1933 - Air France forms
1974 - "The Brady Bunch", a typical 1970s scrubbed-face American family sitcom which first aired on TV Sept. 26, 1969, came to an end on this day
1984 - President Ronald Reagan, was inducted into the
Sportscasters Hall of Fame

Word of the Day:
shenanigan \ shuh-NAN-i-guhn \ , noun;
1. Mischief; prankishness.
2. Remarks intended to deceive; deceit. Often used in the plural.

Wow, I had no idea this word had pejorative meaning. I always thought it was just another word for "things" or "stuff," kind of like "doo-hickey" and "thingamajig" and "whatchamacallit." But now that explains why I always heard it coming from curmudgeonly old people who seemed to think them young'uns were just the bane of their existence.

Today is:
National Marshmallow Toasting Day
Conversation Day Ooh, I think I'm gonna celebrate this one by having as many conversations as possible today.
Frankenstein Day
Vacuum Cleaner Day Vacuuming is reserved for dire situations when the broom is not enough. Vacuum equals heavy, broom equals light. Vacuum is for nooks and crannies. Broom is for everything else.

Happy Monday folks.

Oh, I just wanted to tell everyone that yesterday when I had to change my toilet paper roll, I decided to "mix it up a little" and I made it so the roll went under instead of over, just to see what it was like...so far, I'm okay with it, hehee... I know most of you are horrified...

My DW gives me a hard time when I pull shenanigans like that with the TP. According to her, it goes over. Period. (She has no sense of adventure!)
