Easy to please if going to a familiar restaurant 'cos I've usually decided what I'm going to have before walking in the door. In an unfamiliar restaurant it can take a little longer... but generally I can make quick decisions.

If you or someone in your party is the 2nd one do you tip more ?
Nope... Australia doesn't have the same tipping protocols - in a restaurant here most people pretty much tip 10% for any kind of service except that which is terrible!

Extra Credit Question:
Speaking of tipping

What was the last thing you "tipped over" ?
A box of laundry detergent... fortunately there wasn't too much left in it!

Bonus Question:

Last thing you paid a delivery fee for ?
Amtrak tickets I mailed back from Chicago to my friend in Sydney. Amtrak won't mail tickets outside of the USA, so they were mailed to my friend in Milwaukee, she brought them with her to Chicago, and I forwarded them to my friend by registered express mail ... the package cost $28!!

Inquiring Minds Question:

What are your Labor Day plans ?
No Labor Day holiday here in the Land Downunder!

Just for Fun:

What do you call:

The shiny silver stuff that comes out of the skinny box ?
Aluminium foil
The clear film wrap that does the same thing ?
Gladwrap (it's a brand name, but lots of people call any brand of cling film Gladwrap)
The carbonated beverage(not beer) that comes in a can or bottle ?
Soft drink.

Do any of our QOTD family still have any 33 1/3 albums hangin around their home ?
Yup, a whole packing box full of them! Dating back to 1958 (Everly Brothers LOL). Mostly 1960's pop. I'm hoping they'll be worth serious $ somewhere along the line!

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone!

Happy Tuesday all and looks like I hit Lucky 7 again - guess we'll see WHAT HAPPENED - EEEEEEEEEK I know I was 7 when i reserved my spot. Uh Oh . . . this ain't good.

Today's Question(s):

When you go out to eat, would you consider yourself a

Easy to please diner ?
or a
Pull up a chair this may take awhile order-er ?

Really depends on the restaurant. If I've been there before then I already know my favorites - if it's a new one and since I'm a picky eater it will take me a while

If you or someone in your party is the 2nd one do you tip more ? Guess if you're meaning do we tip more if there is more than one person eating depends: If the bill is combined then everything gets split, though I always throw in a little extra if service is good (and slip it to the server so they know it's because of "their" good service). Can't really remember when I went out and we each had our own check as usually we just get one.

Extra Credit Question:
Speaking of tipping

What was the last thing you "tipped over" ? An almost full beer.

Bonus Question:

Last thing you paid a delivery fee for ? Way too long to remember

Inquiring Minds Question:

What are your Labor Day plans ? It's not celebrated down here but I will be trying to forget what Sunday is by having a few cervezas.

Just for Fun:

What do you call:

The shiny silver stuff that comes out of the skinny box ? Tin Foil
The clear film wrap that does the same thing ? Saran wrap (even if it's a different brand)
The carbonated beverage(not beer) that comes in a can or bottle ? Soda

Do any of our QOTD family still have any 33 1/3 albums hangin around their home ? No - lost a lot of stuff a long time ago when the house flooded.
