Ooooooooooh.....don't get me on my soap box!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a huge animal lover and advocate. These types of people are the scum of the Earth in my book and don't deserve to breath our air.
My daughter (who also does rescue work and is affiliated with a # of agencies) recently took in a 4 week old puppy. She was confiscated in a dog fighting ring raid in Miami....this little girl was in the "bait" tank with her brother....huge scratches and gashes across their bodies. They had been dragged back and forth in front of the caged fighting dogs to "incite" the dogs....and get them riled. The next step would have been to eventually use them in the ring as bait. Makes me physically sick to even think of the horror these animals go through.
Sadly, only one of the many things we have both seen.

This is more than just a peeve for me. It really makes me sick. It's disgusting, and also a red flag that a person has serious problems with aggression.

Thank SCG this is a great peeve and right up my alley. I am a huge animal lover in fact it just wouldn't do for me to work at an animal shelter I would end up taking all of them home. I have ZERO tolerance for any type of cruelty especially to animals and children. But since this thread is about animals I will continue my rant. You don't even begin to know what I would like to do to people that are cruel to animals..it is unprintable and would get me banned for life if I were to post what I would do. People that are cruel to animals are the lowest of the low the dregs of society, the scum of the earth. Whatever they do to an animal should be done to them. These precious beings have NO voice NO choice. I believe it starts when a child is young they must be taught that all living things deserve respect and love.

Oh this is disgusting and hard for me to read or see on TV. I think it is abuse when they put them in these small cages around here or chain them up or leave them totally loose. That is abuse to me.

Cruelty to animals is a huge red flag that the person does not value life and is dangerous to both animals and people.

That story about the puppies used as bait is awful.

I'm going to go hug my kitty cat now.
