Default Proverb of the Day - September 1st

The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which to burn.

Amen to that and Sudcaro's right - it sure isn't an easy choice. Not trying to get all spiritual on people, but that's when I pray and go into "listening mode" so I know if I'm supposed to cross that bad boy or burn it to the ground.

This is so true...I've burned a few bridges in my time that I regret.

I've rebuilt some which I'm thankful for.

Sometimes I have a lot of difficulty deciding which bridges to burn. I'm actually struggling with one right now. Just not sure yet. In the meantime, I'm using a different bridge!

I so agree. If I don't at least discuss it with God first, I'm bound to screw it up on my own. I generally have learned never to burn a bridge, but to find an alternate path until the dust settles.

...but at least my gps will now tell me which bridge is a nice enough road, but it's going the wrong way entirely!

What an excellent proverb! Oh how true it is. Unfortunately, hindsight is 20/20, isn't it? LOL It seems that when we're setting fire to some of those bridges, we don't even realize we're going to need them again someday. Good thing some of us are good swimmers! LOL

Oh I don't like to burn bridges, you never know when that bridge will appear right in front of you again.
