Which do you prefer ? 1

What "style" is the outside of your home ? Brick, with some hardi-plank

If you could live in any type of home, what would you chose ? A really old home (maybe 150 yrs old) that has been updated but maintains its character.

Extra Credit Question:

Have they started putting up the Halloween Displays at your local stores ? Maybe. I guess I have not noticed

Bonus Question:

Would you rather have:

A cabin in the mountains ?
A house on the beach ?
A house boat on the water ?
None. But, if I had to choose, it would be a house on the beach.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever been in a Parade ? Nope

Today's Question(s):
Lets talk about our homes

Does your home have 1 or 2 stories?

Technically it's considered to be a story and a half: it's a late 1940s bungalow, and while it has an upstairs, it's only about half the square footage of the main floor, and not nearly as nicely finished.

Which do you prefer?

Doesn't really matter to me one way or the other, although my knees would prefer that I live in a home with no stairs at all.

For those with 2 story homes is your master bedroom on the first or 2nd floor?

Since I have a story-and-a-half home, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to answer this, but our bedroom is on the first floor.

What "style" is the outside of your home?

I don't really think it has a style. We don't live in a stylish neighborhood. This was taken in our big December snowstorm last year:

If you could live in any type of home, what would you chose?

One that's fully paid for!! I'd love to live in an historic home with hardwood floors, fireplaces, wood crown molding and built-in bookshelves and so on, but given a choice between a mortgaged mansion and a paid-for cottage, I'll take the cottage.

Extra Credit Question:

Have they started putting up the Halloween Displays at your local stores?

Oh goodness yes, weeks ago. I have every expectation of finding the Christmas stuff out by next weekend.

Bonus Question:

Would you rather have:

A cabin in the mountains?
This one, please.
A house on the beach?
A house boat on the water?

Just for Fun:

Have you ever been in a Parade?

Once, decades ago, when I was a Girl Scout.

Would you rather have:

A cabin in the mountains ? No question

Today's Question(s):

Does your home have 1 or 2 stories ? 2 as far the structure, thousands as far as stories go

Which do you prefer ? I don't know....prefer what?

For those with 2 story homes is your master bedroom on the first or 2nd floor ? First

What "style" is the outside of your home ? Art Deco. People photograph this place every week. It's in books and magazines, too.

If you could live in any type of home, what would you chose ?
Eh...cabin in the mountain woods. Home near the ocean in the tropics is probably second choice.

Extra Credit Question:

Have they started putting up the Halloween Displays at your local stores ? Nope

A cabin in the mountains ? WTF? Deja Vu?
A house on the beach ?

Hello! Happy Tuesday!

Today's Question(s):
Lets talk about our homes

Does your home have 1 or 2 stories ? 2

Which do you prefer ?
either

For those with 2 story homes is your master bedroom on the first or 2nd floor ? 2nd

What "style" is the outside of your home ? Collector. We have train stuff (signal light, coupler, switches), old rusty toy trucks, milk cans, several bird houses and feeders. I know this isn't really what you were asking but the house itself is more or less just a 2 story box with a dining room addition. BORING
If you could live in any type of home, what would you chose ? Mom's I love her house.

Extra Credit Question:

Have they started putting up the Halloween Displays at your local stores ? yes

Bonus Question:

Would you rather have:

A cabin in the mountains ?
A house on the beach ?
This one!
A house boat on the water ?

Just for Fun:

Have you ever been in a Parade ?
Yes, rode on the fire truck a few times (hubby was a volunteer firefighter for several years)

Today is:
National Acorn Squash Day Yum

Lets talk about our homes

Does your home have 1 or 2 stories ?
Single level.

Which do you prefer ?
Have lived in houses with two stories, but now I love not having to climb the stairs!

For those with 2 story homes is your master bedroom on the first or 2nd floor ?

What "style" is the outside of your home ?
It's a fairly bog standard 60-year old Australian country cottage... corrugated iron roof (well nowadays it's Colorbond, but it still looks like corrugated iron), with weatherboard siding. Lots of palm trees, and shrubs - not much of the house is visible from the front. It's very cute, and larger on the inside than it looks.

If you could live in any type of home, what would you chose ?
If I were to stay in this town, my house is perfect. If money was no object, I might go for a loft in NYC.

Extra Credit Question:

Have they started putting up the Halloween Displays at your local stores ?
Australia doesn't do Halloween in a big way. Not seen any displays.

Bonus Question:

Would you rather have:

A cabin in the mountains ?
Yes, as long as there's good road access.
A house on the beach ?
Nope, not a beach person.
A house boat on the water ?
Yes, I'd like this.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever been in a Parade ?
I might have been in an Easter Bonnet parade in kindergarten!

Happy Labor Day Monday!

I have never officially been in a parade except for following behind one. I would love a house on the beach, a cabin in the mountains and not so much the boat on water. I have not noticed any halloween decor. If I could live in any kind of house I wanted it would be a farm type or fancy log cabin. I live in a one story single family dwelling block home. I think I would prefer a house that comes with a good man who is handy with his hands... A gal can dream, so I she may as well dream right... Happy Tuesday aLLyaLL
