I'm torn with mine. I like the usual posters, and there is a lot of good info there but...

I HATE the same questions being asked all of the time. I swear most people think that Indy is some back water type place where we have weekly cross burnings in addition to the people living there walking around dragging our knuckles since we have not evolved much from Neanderthals.

Not crazy about mine, but I don't care for Texas either. Most Texans think if you don't worship Texas you should be in jail.

MO forum rocks! We have a bunch of great people posting there with helpful info and some funny stuff thrown in often. The nice thing is that everyone gets along well unlike my former state of CA where there seems to be a few e-thugs hangin' around causing problems every day.

Mine is really lame. I hate the posters on there because they are either experts on everything or offended by a little humor, or they just rant with the same cut and paste garbage. Someone will ask a question. If it's about something in which I have no experience, I'll just kind of not go there. The forum name might be something like "Unwed, Catholic, Illegal Immigrant Mothers of Autistic Children. Ya see, I'd have no business in that forum. But the forum could be something that's right up my alley. "What's Chivington Colorado like?" Eventually, someone's gonna come on and say, "Umm, I'm not from Eastern Colorado or Colorado or anything, but I think that dry land farming is the bomb!" Or it's like, "I have no experience on that subject, but let me pontificate on it based on some facts that I just Googled."

I'll think that I laid down some pretty slick and informative data, then one of these 1,432 post Road hog's will come along and just reiterate exactly what I'd just said. I get so rapped up in these stupid forums sometimes. It's so stupid.

Like someone said above, the topics are the same old stupid stuff. Is Colorado cold in the winter? How much does it snow? How come there aren't any jobs? Why is it so dry? Why do people pick their nose?

The really cool people are on the high school sports forums, but school's out now. The 1A and 2A alumni from eastern Colorado, the Western Slope, and the San Luis Valley have a lot of passion in their children and it's fun to watch them rant.

Here, they've got no purpose. I guess MY problem is sticking to the point. Why am I even here and not earning my paycheck?

Same way with the PA forum. People call you trolls just because you hate the place you live in and they don't.

I try to instill a little humor in my state forum and everyone gets pissed at me. Alot of people in my state forum like to beat around the bush with the phrase "up and coming". I just flat out say that the place is a dump, no jobs, combat zone, etc, and people get mad at me for being straight to the point.

Most PA people have no sense of humor at all in the forum either.

Florida board... dont like it at all. I tend to stay away especially the Miami subforum. It seems like everyone is always so negative. I could think of a few posters on there that I would ban for eternity since I cant do that I just stay away.

The Canada forum is mostly for people trying to move here or Canadians asking Americans questions. I haven't really tried starting conversations there yet....Maybe I will see if I can liven up the board!

I'm indifferent. There are the "regulars" that provide good feedback and I've enjoyed asking questions while receiving honest, intelligent, thought out - objective - answers but there are plenty of people that post pretty asinine statements/questions. It's kinda funny how people get so sensitive about others dogging on their state. Why let a complete stranger get to you like that?

All in all though, I think it's a great resource. For me, it's definitely done more good than bad. It's a little annoying to have a "new guy" come on and ask the same question for the thousandth time - use the search tool - but it's nothing a little scrolling can't solve!
