Can I ask WHY they type like that? Have seen it often enough, and as mentioned above, I skip right over it. It is extremely annoying....right along with those who type all in caps.

I have no idea HOW anyone could type like that unless they're drinkin' something reaaaaaaaaal strong, but on a 'typing' note WHAT I HATE IS WHEN PEOPLE TYPE IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THEN I THINK THEY'RE SHOUTING AT ME.

There are programs that make regular type come out like that automatically. It's just a sign that it's a kid typing and, if that's the most annoying thing they do, then we'd be pretty lucky IMO it's even more duh when adults use that - and the extra symbols with stars and hearts everywhere too. But, to each his own - there are plenty of people who think using emoticons is

I will sometimes post putting a few key words in bold.

It seems many posters are " skimmers" and I hate to be questioned by someone who has totally mis-read my post.

I, too, find this extremely annoying. Good one, SCG! And then there's the texting shorthand . . .

(I'll readily admit, though - I'm a word and grammar nerd. I know I'm in the minority. )

I have been known to accidentally type with my cap lock on, while IM'ing, too.

I guess I'm just an internet faux pas waiting to happen.
