Magnum Mike was a nickname that was given to me by a couple of hunting buddies about 21 years ago. I had a Smith & Wesson model 586 in the .357 magnum caliber and they saw me as somebody like Dirty Harry, even though he used a Smith & Wesson model 29 in the .44 magnum caliber, so the name sort of stuck to this day.
I have a newer Smith & Wesson, model 686 stainless steel in the .357 caliber, a Ruger Redhawk in the .44 magnum, and a Ruger M77 in the .300 Winchester magnum, among other pistols and rifles, so you can see why I picked this screen name.

When I was first checking out City Data I noticed that there were so many positive attitudes in the forum so I had decided that this was a good thing in a CRAZYWORLD so that became my screenname and my favorite place to come .

I am a dude that lives part time in EL PASO. It wasn't that long ago that El Paso was in the wild west! It is still the most southwestern city.
