Hmm, then maybe I can try it.

Yeah yeah yeah. "Mysterious" is one thing I am rarely accused of being. "Different" however, I've heard that a time or two.

Well, mine seems obvious and yes, it's after the movie character...

I didn't pick it because I'm some believer in the lost cause, or that I think the South will rise again, or anything of the sort....

I was banned once under my old username which was VAFury because the Florida forum couldn't handle the fact that a good portion of it's current and former residents hated the place..

So I came back for a brief stint as BeerNPoker, but thought that the monniker didn't really say who I was (though I do have a fondness for beer and do play poker.. ).

Anyway, I requested to change my name to Rhett_Butler because, though I was born in Illinois, my mother (a southern Kentuckian) raised me to have southern gentleman-type manners and LOVED GWTW....

At the same time I told the mod that I was a formerly banned poster and didn't really wish to play around and be all sneaky with who I was... They offered to let me have my old username back, but I kept it how you see it....

So there is more info than you will EVER want to know about my handle here on CD...

I think I'm neither so humble nor so arrogant. The night before I joined up here I was talking to an old friend from my home town and we got to talking about our upbringing, which was on the poor side, "humble", is what we said. It was fresh in my mind when I filled in the section for user name.

Desert kid.

Lived in Arizona my whole life, in a small town in the desert.

IZthe411

IZ is a nickname I have
I came up with 'the411' based off of the title of Mary J's first album and the fact that my birthday is 4/11.

Chowhound.

I think it spells it out.

Actually, I wished I'd come up with something a little closer to me. While I do like to "chow", the name Chowhound kind of conjures up the image of jabba the hut macking down a huge plate of food.

Glad you cleared that up. Although it may have seemed obvious, I was never quite sure if it related to food consumption or the species of dog, "Chow".
