Today's Tip ~ Sunday, October 10, 2010 - Alka Seltzer Uses, Not What You Think! (house, kids)

Happy Sunday, kids! Here's today's tip - actually, more than on tip.

Here are a few cool ways to use Alka Seltzer around the house:

1. To remove a stain from the bottom of a glass vase or vinegar cruet, fill with water and drop in two tabs.

2. To clean jewelry, drop 2 tabs into a glass of water and leave the jewelry in it for 2 minutes. (Don't do this with pearls!)

3. To clean a toilet, drop in 2 tabs, wait 20 minutes, brush and flush. The citric acid and effervescent action clean vitreous china.

4. Clogged sink drain? Drop in 3 tabs, follow with a cup of white vinegar, wait a few minutes, then run hot water. This should clear the drain.
