Hello Peevers! Let's give a big thanks to elizamary for filling in for me on the Peeve this past 2 days! I appreciate it.

Today's Peeve: Car passengers that throw their doors wide open without first checking to make sure it is safe to do so.

This is how other cars get dents in them... and this is how people get hit by car doors! It's rude. Pay attention to what you're doing! Period!

Whenever I have a choice, I avoid parking next to 2-door cars, because their doors are bigger and are more likely to strike the cars parked next to them. I choose a space next to a 4-door car whenever I can.

Some cars have a rubber strip built into the sides of their doors to absorb the impact of a carelessly opened door of the car next to it. At least, they used to......no idea if auto manufacturers are still doing this but a few decades ago, it was still in practice.

This definitely ruffles my feathers! I remember one time I was sitting in my car and the idiot swung open the door and hit mine and said NOTHING!! I said, "Excuse me,you just hit my car" and he said "Oh, did I?" If I was a man I think I would of decked him right there on the spot! People just don't give a darn anymore...how sad.

People really don't care about the others and their belongings... They also forget it can be dangerous! Imagine there is a small child right there!

Good one! I also hare when people slam car doors, I have 2 windows now that are already jacked up because the cheap plastic mechanism is broke and most likely due to repeated slamming. I jump all over someone when they do that.
