You can also turn right on red even if there is a sign saying you can't.

You can also stop at a red light, no traffic coming to your right or left, and proceed onwards with a huge smile on your face.

My hurry-to-live-and-hurry-to-die Daddy told me all that after I got my driver's license.

My first trip with my Dad driving the family car, I stop at a red light. He glances right to left, then to me. Well??? What are you waiting for!!! (Slams his fist on the dashboard) Go, go, go!!

Just don't turn right on a red arrow light. Those mean no turn on red.

well I see we have a mish mash of peeves today......Pizza, phone and drivers.
I think I will go with.......drum roll please.......... our host peeve

I always turn right on red if no sign but noticed a few that hesitate or even sit and wait.
If I'm in a hurry.....the horn gets honked. If not I just make faces at them.

As far as pizza.....I like my crust thin.
Phone......I can't hear and I answer the phone

We have a lot of no turn on red streets here so I have to be careful, most of the time I'm not in a hurry.

"Driving" and "public bathrooms"........the two most favorite subjects for "pet peeves".

LOL! Good one SCG!
Lots of those peeps here!! Of course, we have no left turn, no right turn, no turns whatsoever! Makes you wonder how some people have gotten a license!

LOL if and when we ever do get stop lights in Boquete I'll see how the other drivers do right now stop signs are challenging enough for some of them.

Too dangerous here in NY!

It can be very annoying, especially when there are lots of cars in line.
The thing is, sometimes you are stuck there because the guy in the first car actually doesn't want to turn right, but go straight...
My other peeve is when someone wants to turn left (with no green or red light at the intersection), and waits, waits, waits, even if there is no more car coming its way... what a waste of time!
