Today's Question(s):
Yesterday we talked about new foods so it made me wonder

If you go to someones home for dinner and they serve something you don't like or never had before do you:

Try a small bit

Something's going to kill me sooner or later, anyway. If it's their cooking, at least I'll have an interesting epitath on my tombstone.

Extra Credit Question:

Ok have at it !!

What is your "Whine about one thing" whine ?

I hate my neighbor who stands right on the edge of our property smoking cigarettes and tossing the butts in my dry grass (while we have winds and a fire warning in effect). He stands there hoping I'll come over for a friendly chat, and refuses to believe it when I tell him his butts could cause a fire. Lately I've taken to walking over there with a hose and watering the butts. Yet he still thinks I'm his best friend and will want to stay to chat.

Bonus Question:

Do you have a Macy's in your town ?

Many of them

Just Curious Question:

Because Halloween is on Sunday this year,is anyone's town having the kids go out Saturday instead ?

The parties are Saturday and Saturday night. Trick or treating is for Sunday night.

Just for Fun:

Caramel Apples
or
Candied Apples ?

Just plain old slices of apple. With cinnamon sprinkled on top.

f you go to someones home for dinner and they serve something you don't like or never had before do you:
I'll try anything once! Even Beefaroni ...

What is your "Whine about one thing" whine ?
That I can whine only about one thing ...

Do you have a Macy's in your town ?
Doesn't everyone?

Does your town have set times for Trick or Treating ?
I don't think so ... I guess since the city doesn't bother to let us know what those set times are, there aren't any. I sit on the porch until I'm out of candy, or until I'm bored.

Just for Fun:Caramel Apples or Candied Apples ?
Caramel ... yum ...

1975 - Covers of both Time and Newsweek picture rock singer Bruce Springsteen - Baby we were born to run !!!
I remember seeing this and thinking ... "Who the hell is Bruce Springsteen?" No one in the Land of AM Radio had ever heard of him.

- St. Francis de Sales

"Acceptance of others, their looks, their behaviors, their beliefs, bring you an inner peace and tranquillity -- instead of anger and resentment."

Man, you guys are fast to answer the Today's Question.

Today's Question(s):
Yesterday we talked about new foods so it made me wonder

If you go to someones home for dinner and they serve something you don't like or never had before do you:

Try a small bit ? I'll try a little bit and see how I like it. It might be good and, I'll discover something new I like. I've had that happen a number of times.
Take some and push it around the plate ?
Claim "I had a late lunch I will just have coffee" ?
I don't go unless I know what they are making ?
I bring my own food ?

Extra Credit Question:

Ok have at it !!

What is your "Whine about one thing" whine ? Work. It is royally messed up and, it isn't getting any better but, I'll spare you my "whining."

*** Well other than politics ***

Bonus Question:

Do you have a Macy's in your town ? Sure do. Sadly, it's in a mall that is virtually dead. It desperaturely needs renovation. Years ago, it was a very nice popular mall. Now, hardly anyone shops there.

Just Curious Question:

Because Halloween is on Sunday this year,is anyone's town having the kids go out Saturday instead ? Don't have kids.

Does your town have set times for Trick or Treating ? Don't know.

Just for Fun:

Caramel Apples I may have tried this once and, I can't remember when. I'd go with this one.
or
Candied Apples ? I've never had this.

Today's Question(s):
Yesterday we talked about new foods so it made me wonder

If you go to someones home for dinner and they serve something you don't like or never had before do you:

Try a small bit ? I eat about anything unless it's VERY strange....or liver in which case I probably would tell them I didn't eat it. Most people wouldn't serve liver to company.Take some and push it around the plate ?
Claim "I had a late lunch I will just have coffee" ?
I don't go unless I know what they are making ?
I bring my own food ?

Extra Credit Question:

Ok have at it !!

What is your "Whine about one thing" whine ?

Well other than politics *** Other than politics The thing I probably whine the most about is the beastly hot weather, and NO, I can't just move!

Bonus Question:

Do you have a Macy's in your town ? Yep. I buy clothes and cosmetics there.

Just Curious Question:

Because Halloween is on Sunday this year,is anyone's town having the kids go out Saturday instead? No, but when I was child, our city (my hometown of Lubbock) was such a city of church-goers, they had the kids go on Sat night because they thought too many people would be at church on Sunday evening.
Does your town have set times for Trick or Treating ? No, and I wasn't aware that any did until last year.

Just for Fun:

Caramel Apples definitely this one. I ♥ caramel!
or
Candied Apples ?"

GOTEXASRANGERS!!!!!

I'm holding my hand up I wanna come to class with you - what a cool thing to teach the kids.

Today's Question(s):
Yesterday we talked about new foods so it made me wonder

If you go to someones home for dinner and they serve something you don't like or never had before do you:

Try a small bit ? This one. With the exception of something I'm allergic to I'd eat at least a small portion. To me it's rude not to eat what the hostess made. That said, if she serves a lot of different things then it's easy to fill the plate with food I like.
Take some and push it around the plate ?
Claim "I had a late lunch I will just have coffee" ?
I don't go unless I know what they are making ?
I bring my own food ? Unless it's a pot luck, I'd never bring my own food - what's the point in even going to someone's house for dinner (unless someone has a medical issue and needs to eat special food)

Extra Credit Question:

Ok have at it !!

What is your "Whine about one thing" whine ? Well since we can't talk about the other I'd say Shredder using a wicker shelf as a chewing post. Dang that boy.

*** Well other than politics *** Like I said . . .

Bonus Question:

Do you have a Macy's in your town ?

Just Curious Question:

Because Halloween is on Sunday this year,is anyone's town having the kids go out Saturday instead ?

Does your town have set times for Trick or Treating ? We don't do it here. Do remember though before I moved down it had got to the point where parents were either just sticking to their neighbors houses or other people they knew (or malls) because of all the whack jobs out there. Remember the days when you could just go roam trick or treating and not have to worry about anything but how much candy you could snag up? Sigh.

Just for Fun:

Caramel Apples YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMY
or
Candied Apples ?
