Default Who's Carving a Jack-o'-Lantern this Halloween?

Who is going to carve up a pumpkin this Halloween? What style jack-o'-lantern do you usually carve- scary or funny? Do you roast the seeds? I love Halloween and carving up a pumpkin is always part of the fun!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I'm not carving 'em, I'm not painting 'em, I'm not dressing 'em up in any way. I like my pumpkins like I like my men: au natural.

They may look a little funny on the front porch with the remote and a beer.

I'll carve one tonight, likely with a scary face. But I don't put too much effort into them. I like to place large candles in 'em.

I don't carve pumpkins, I cook them and then make pumpkin bread and pie after processing them.

Oh, I'll definitely carve a jack-o-lantern this year. I've already roasted, pureed, strained and frozen my pie pumpkins for the year, so now it's time to play.

I generally lean toward scary and/or macabre themes, because that's what Halloween is all about, anyway. Here are a couple I've done in the past (they're kinda blurry, unfortunately, I'm not a great night-time photographer):

Halloween 2007:

Halloween 2009:

Didn't get a photo of the werewolf I carved in 2008, unfortunately. And I'm still debating what I'll do this year.
