Im actually looking forward to the time change here.
Im guessing the closest post office from here is about 3 miles? But now we can use our rural mailbox and keep stamps handy for our outgoing mail.

"Whatcha" doing ?

We all gather at my sis and BIL's house for the grand meal and spend the day yelling at the TV during football games. I dress up and wear my Gale Sayers jersey for the day. Mother wears her Joe Namath jersey and my sister wears her Roger Staubach jersey.

I came home from college for a weekend back in the 60s and my mother announced she was leaving my father for Broadway Joe.

Extra Credit Question:

When is comes to "bill Paying" do you

Have set dates each month that they get paid ?
Pay them as they come in ? This one. On-line bill paying is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Pay right before the Due Date ?
I have no idea someone else in the home pays them ?
Where the heck is the "Bill Pay Fairy" when you need them ?

Bonus Question:

I really dislike shopping for ______,but then I went shopping for _____ and that was even worse ?

IMO, any kind of shopping is horrible.

1872 - Susan B. Anthony fined for trying to vote
1953 - Paul Searls saws a 32" log in 86.4 seconds
1946 - John F. Kennedy begins his political career he is elected to House of Representatives I still miss you, Jack.
1988 - The Beach Boys hit #1 in US with "Kokomo". They set two music-chart records with this event. It was the longest span of #1 hits (24 years, 4 months since "I Get Around") and the longest gap between #1 hits (21 years, 10 months since "Good Vibrations"). Kokomo is my fav BB's song. Plus, I just love this......it's one of the cutest youtubes ever. Turn up your sound..... Muppets sing Kokomo.
