Default Anyone ever heard of Allen and Associates?

Its a job recruiter company. We found them on the web and gave them a call. They want to charge us $3200 for them to find us a job. I just thing that is way too much money. But, my husband is considering it.

They are a ripoff from what I have heard. Avoid them like the plague. NO - no no!!!
Go through a reputable staffing agency that is knowledgeable and field-specific. they will not charge you - they charge the employer.

That is a scam. A real recruiter or employment agency gets paid by the employer not you. In other words if they are trying to charge you anything it is a scam. Sorry!

There are many versions of Allen & Assoc. I would never pay someone to find me a job. As others have said, the employer pays the recruitment fee. Usually a percentage of the first year's salary.

Make sure your husband does not fall for this company who have been ripping people off for years.

Remember this: "Avoid any employment agency where the applicant must pay the fee. Headhunters and recruiters are great sources of job leads as long as job-seekers remember, like real estate agents, that these professionals work for the employer, not for you." — Quintessential Careers

A real headhunter should specialize in your career field and never ask the job-seeker for money, they are paid by companies to screen potential hires. this company could care less if you get a job. plus their writing skills are poor, they hire sleazy telemarketers who know nothing except get a credit card and send a form letter.
