Advent - First Sunday
Since my mom is German, we actually do light candles on the wreath each Sunday before Christmas.
We sing Christmas songs, blow out the candles and St. Nick leaves candy inside the wreath.
We all look forward to this part of Christmas each year.

Today's Question: Considering that the average American moves 11 times in a life time, What number are you up to?
Well let's see, I've moved 7 times in the last 4 years and before that I'd have to guess and say at least 10 that I can count so I'm above average I guess with my moving

Extra Credit Question: What move was the greatest distance?
The times I moved between NC and SC...about 8 hours away

Bonus Question: What were your favorite (or least favorite) board games from your past?
I loved "Sorry" and chinese checkers, least favorite is probably Monopoly simply because it takes so long

Class assignment: Use word of the day in a sentence.
That's easy, I'm very "disheveled" this morning.

Good morning.

Considering that the average American moves 11 times in a life time, What number are you up to? I have moved 33 times that I can remember That doesn't include the 3 1/2 years that hubby and I traveled in our motor home. We stayed at numerous campgrounds but our home came with us

What move was the greatest distance? Right after college in upstate NY to North Miami FL.

What were your favorite (or least favorite) board games from your past? Not too many board games. I liked playing spades, dice, and I love scrabble.

Do you prefer board games or card games? You play often?
I like cards and dice. BTW, I have just been invited to a monthly Bunco girls night

Use word of the day in a sentence. There is nothing disheveled in my life. We just had a couple over to see our house and they asked "does anyone live here" Yeah, I like to be organized and prepared.

Happy Sunday!!!

Today's Question: Considering that the average American moves 11 times in a life time, What number are you up to? Just in my married life we are into the 20+. My DH is transferred with his company, climbing the corporate ladder" type thing. We have crisscrossed the country many times...one coast to the other.

Extra Credit Question: What move was the greatest distance? West Coast to East Coast and back again.

Bonus Question: What were your favorite (or least favorite) board games from your past? Always disliked all board games.

Just for Fun: Do you prefer board games or card games? You play often?Neither....no. I much prefer to "active".

Classassignment: Use word of the day in a sentence.
After the Thanksgiving holiday and visitors, and while starting to put up Christmas decorations, my house looks very DISHEVELED!

Today's Question: Considering that the average American moves 11 times in a life time, What number are you up to? Let's see. Not many actually. Eight, including moves as a child that I don't remember.
Extra Credit Question: What move was the greatest distance? Vermont to Massachusetts
I have to add that six generations of my family have owned my mother's home. Seven generations have lived there. My brother, two sisters and a niece have all built homes on the property. So, as you can see we aren't world travelers.

Bonus Question: What were your favorite (or least favorite) board games from your past? We play a lot of board games. I can't remember all their names. The ones I like the most are word games. My sister made a board game which is family based. It's fun because it involves telling stories.

Just for Fun: Do you prefer board games or card games? You play often? Either. I play often with family. We don't usually follow the rules. And I will admit to being a bit competitive.

Class assignment:
Use word of the day in a sentence. This reminds me of a college professor who went to Russia. He was very proud to show a picture of the group he went with until someone pointed out his somewhat disheveled appearance. There he was standing straight and proud... with his jacket buttoned wrong.

I had better get going and, as GG said, make the most of my day. Happy Sunday!

Cards and no but I'd like to again.
