It's all about the $$$$$.

? to Peevers: What do you think is the worst movie sequel of all time? I vote for "Jewel Of The Nile", sequel to "Romancing The Stone".

What I hate most is when the "sequels" don't come out in order.

Good peeve - what's even worse though are some of the remakes they're doing of classics that starred some of our all time great actors. If it ain't broke leave it alone

Me too. This is nuts. I don't even bother with sequels anymore.

The worst sequels are the ones that don't have the original cast members in the lead roles...i.e. Batman. I LOVED Michael Keaton's version...the other guys not so much.

Agree with you there. The sequel to "Gone With The Wind" was AWFUL. There are NO substitutes for Clark Gable and Vivian Lee.

Michael Keaton was the best Batman! Romancing the Stone was much better than Jewel of the Nile! Six Days Seven Nights would have been good sequel to Romancing the stone. It was equally cute! All three "Lord of the Rings movies were great! All three ..er four Indiana Jones were entertaining. Though I find it hard to recall anything about the last one! All the Star Wars were pretty good. Terminators without Schwarzenegger are a bust! All my faves are too old to make sequels!!

Has there ever been a sequel made that WAS any good? I can't think of one...other than perhaps Star Wars and Harry Potter.
