Whoo Hoo LOL think this is the 3rd time this week I've hit pole the girl's on a lucky streak.

Today's Question: Have you ever gone Christmas Caroling?

Went when I was younger, but it's been years and I sang very soft. I've never been able to sing well.

Extra Credit Question: Do you have a favorite Carol? (besides Carol Burnett) Well it sure as heck isn't Joy to the World dang I got sick of hearing that song. I do like a lot of them though and I'll go with Silent Night

Bonus Question: Who is the one person you have the most difficult time buying a gift for? Don't have one - even when I was close to family and married, I knew what they liked/wanted. Shredder is very easy to please - first dig a hole and then . . .

Just for Fun: Is your house all decorated? Yes, though high winds kept blowing everything down, including "the tree". Need to go out and reattach a few things and put my wreath back on my front door because it along with the nail it was hanging on got yanked off by the wind

Today in History:

1969 - "Hello Dolly" with Barbra Striesand premieres
1965 - Beatles last Great Britain concert (Capitol Theatre in Cardiff Wales) loved the Beatles - still do
1963 - Frank Sinatra, Jr. returned after being kidnapped even though I was real young I remember when that happened
1957 -U.S. announces manufacture of Borazon (harder than diamond)
1953 - Chuck Yeager reaches Mach 2.43 in Bell X-1A rocket plane
1913 -- "Mona Lisa," stolen from Louvre Museum in 1911, recovered

Word of the Day:
Gallivant - GAL-uh-vant - verb
1. to wander about, seeking pleasure or diversion; gad
2. to go about with members of the opposite sex maybe Shredder and I will go for a walk - the young man across the street who said he was so huge told me I should get a cat leash to walk him riiiiiiight

Today is:
Poinsettia Day and we have them in several colors growing here
Gingerbread House Day made one of those in school
National Ding-A-Ling Day I'm a ding-a-ling every day
National Ambrosia Day

I don't think I have been Caroling in years, but u can't go wrong with Silent Night. I think that is my favorite. I don't think I have a problem buying for anyone because money and gift cards makes it easier to take up the slack when u are not sure which way to go. I don't have the house decorated yet and I am not sure if I am going to get around to it. I will need help, so the teenagers will have to do it and if they don't it won't get done. Happy Sunday to all of yall and lot of Joy to the World

Today's Question: Have you ever gone Christmas Caroling? Yup. Went several times while in college in the 70s. Went with a group from church about 10 or so years ago to a couple area nursing homes.

Extra Credit Question: Do you have a favorite Carol? (besides Carol Burnett) Little Drummer Boy. The original by the Vienna Boys' Choir.
A little trivia on Christmas music. You may have heard "Merry Christmas, Darling", by The Carpenters. I got to see them in concert at Murray State University in Murray, Ky. in the early 70s. Karen sang that song then told the audience that that was the first time that song had been sung in public. The music was on a plane at that moment to the publisher.

Bonus Question: Who is the one person you have the most difficult time buying a gift for? My Wife! "Honey, what do you want for Christmas?" "I don't know!"

Just for Fun: Is your house all decorated? Yup
