Default A "Magical" moment....

It is the wee early hours of the morning and I was just thinking about an experience I had about 2-3 yrs ago. FYI, I am an avid reader.

I was working at a business warehouse at the time. We were located out in a large undeveloped area (think quiet country type setting) near a good sized city.

Business was slow and I was the only person working this day. It was beautiful outside so I was walking around the lot. I looked up and saw a long sinuous shape winding sideways across the sky.

"Cool," I thought. "I didn't know there were dragons in this area anymore."

I watched in silent content for about 2 minutes before the shape came into clear view. It was one of those very large strings of reddish balloons that auto dealers frequently put up around their lots that had escaped it's moorings. For some reason this particular string happened to be floating sideways across the sky in an S-shape.

All of a sudden it occurred to me that I had actually, for a few moments in time, been certain I was watching a dragon's flight. I had experienced what many adults so seldom get anymore, a moment of pure magic.

Does anyone else have a story to share?

You must be from California...I think we're the only ones who can admit to stuff like this.

Yes I do have 'magical' stories..one similar to yours with the cloud formation and such, but it's a little too near and dear to my heart to give details.
