Arrrg. Just as I hit send with my answers the power in the hotel flickered and I lost all of my answers. So here we go again.

Today's Question(s):

Ok I will admit it,I can be a real "Baby" when it comes to:
1. Going to the doctor.
2. Answering fill in the blank questions

Bonus Question:

Have you ever been "Employee of the Month" ?
Everywhere I have worked I have always worked in the "Bastard Step-Child Department" of the company. We never get recognized for our accomplishments.

Extra Credit Question:

Have you ever placed a classified ad ?
I have

Just for Fun:

lol Never under estimate the power of someone that works in the "Bastard Step-Child Department" of a company.
While everyone from other departments are busy blaming your department for their screw-ups, we are busy plotting our revenge.

Today's Question(s):

Ok I will admit it,I can be a real "Baby" when it comes to:
1. Playing mumbleypeg. I don't want my foot stabbed with a knife, thank you.
2. Going out at night to "have a few drinks". I don't drink and drive.
* Please note that I don't consider myself a "baby" for having brains.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever been "Employee of the Month" ?
I've never worked anywhere that had that.

Extra Credit Question: Today I will buy a large meatball parmigiana sub!
Thank you so much Kwak!

Have you ever placed a classified ad ? Yeah.

Just for Fun:

lol Never under estimate the power of karma.

Today in History:
1821 - College of Apothecaries organized in Phil; 1st U.S. pharmacy college
1822 - Boston is incorporated as a city I don't like baked beans or cream pie so
Big Freakin' Deal....
1886 - London Times publishes world's 1st classified ad Ohhhh.
1896 - Tootsie Roll introduced by Leo Hirshfield I love the Tootsie Rolls that we used to get back in the sixties! Big fat ones, made so that you could pull them apart in sections, nice and soft and chewy - much like a decent Golden Retriever dookie.
1905 - The Rotary Club International was founded in Chicago This is very cool because while I know little about rotoring anything I am sure they had plenty of those great Chicago pizzas going on! But come to think about it, I do now remember fixing my car and having days of failing to figure out what was wrong. It turned out to be the rotory had a crack in it. That, after days and days of hard work. I was so happy when I figured it out that I honestly took that rotory out to the bar and had many cold ones with him (he sat there on the bar in front of me).
And this is true!
1910 - 1st radio contest held (Philadelphia) This is cool because I like cream cheese. I put loads of cream cheese on my bagels! An inch thick! Yum! AND,
I love cheesesteak subs, too! With onions and peppers and loads of the steak, plus mushrooms (sorry Nan!) and lots of melted WHITE cheese - not Cheez Whiz!
Sorry, Philly - I'll have to have mine "wit-out" if I ever come there again!

Word of the Day:
nimbus \ NIM-buhs \ , noun;
1. (Fine Arts) A circle, or disk, or any indication of radiant light around the heads of divinities, saints, and sovereigns, upon medals, pictures, etc.; a halo.
2. A cloud or atmosphere (as of romance or glamour) that surrounds a person or thing.
3. (Meteorology) A rain cloud
Oh lordy, please bring me cumulo nimbus all day long, every day!

Today is:
National Banana Bread Day but I never eat it.
International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day If I ever had to eat baked beans to survive I would really appreciate having a dog biscuit!
Tennis Day Tennis is very cool.
Tootsie Roll It's gotta be the big dog dookie one or it's not so good.
Curling is Cool Day So cool it's gotta be freezing.
3rd Caller Wins - Radio Contest Day I never ever listen to radio. I hate it.
Classified Ad Day Please, please - somebody please adopt a pet cat or dog and give them a good home and lots of love & proper care! Rescue one from the shelter ASAP!

Thanks once again to our dear Karla kwak, for being the great friend that she is and for her taking the time to bring us this daily time of fun - I know it brings me something to look forward to each weekday! ((((hugs)))) Karla!
HappyWishes to all you good folks - the weekend is almost here! It will be a super good one here in Lake Worth, Florida! It's our annual 2 day Street Painting Festival! I'll be there all day on both days, shooting hundreds of pictures and eating great festival foods. I lay awake at night looking forward to the pizza and the chicken on a stick! Yayyyyyyy!
