Howdy NIQers!! It's a fine Sunday morning in Destin, Florida. We're a little fogged in at the moment, but that's all right. It reminds me of home!
Let's catch up a bit here with previous questions, shall we?
The Nearly Impossible Question for Friday, February 25, 2011 was: Can you name 5 favorite sushi rolls for Americans?
Research is showing the correct answers to be:
Cucumber Roll with crab Dynamite Roll (spicy tuna with chinese mayonnaise seared on top) Rainbow Roll (Nori seaweed w/ thin layer of rice, tuna, salmon, avocado, and halibut and sprouts lengthwise. Sprinkle with sesame seeds) Hurricane Roll (spicy crab, shrimp, tuna, cucumber and tempura squid) Spicy Salmon (Same as Dynamite roll, but sub salmon)
The winners of the NIQ for Friday are: tyvin, Chatteress, and Kobber ... Good gamin' you three!!! I know we didn't exactly all list the same, but just being able to LIST 5 is tops in my book!!!
The Nearly Impossible Question for Saturday, February 26, 2011 was: What is the average temperature for Destin, Florida?
The correct answer is:The Emerald Coast's balmy subtropical climate is one of the area's most valued assets. An average annual climate of 67.2 degrees provides just enough of a change in the temperature to mark the passing of four mild seasons.
The winners for the Saturday NIQ are: No one was right on the money, but with the answer being 67.2, that would be difficult to call. I gave correct answers to the closest to that number: Bydand at 66°, Tasmtairy at 68°, YoungLisa at 68°, and Kobber at 67°. Good job everyone!!!
All I can tell you, is the weather has been doggone gorgeous every day this week!!!!! FABULOSO!!!
