Default Social networking?

Are you socially active? online I mean. With the several socnets out there, how many did you join? are you actively update your profile, read friends blog, etc? What is your favorite? Myspace, facebook, friendster, flickr, Yippykya.com (new one, with interesting feature like "to be discovered", yippys on the rise)? I joined at least 3 of them. I don't check it everyday though. Just when I have chance. It nice to know what your friend up to by reading their blog. So, let's hear your opinion.

I'm a regular on Facebook, but I've been utilizing MySpace less and less as of late. I'm a fan of the new applications you can add to make Facebook more interesting, and it's nice to keep in-touch with peers from high school via the very well-organized networks on there. Both outlets have proven to be very useful in arranging dates in the past, as a lot of people (myself included) feel more comfortable chatting to someone online first before meeting them in public.

I have friends that are big on this. I, on the other hand, am a bit cautious when it comes to the whole social networking scene. I've done it to k.i.t. with friends/family etc but never to meet new people. But I love checking out people's pages just to see the creative things that they do with them! I do have a private page on myspace and I keep a tracker (a very flimsy one at that) on it.
