Some people believe in god too... just as much proof for either. Myths and fable both, to me as an atheist. I treat all beliefs the same. It's based on faith so how can you prove or disprove either? People should be free to believe what they want and I find it hysterical when someone who calls themselves Christian mocks other people's beliefs. Leprechauns and Wood Spirits have had a following for thousands of years and Christianity for 2000. what exactly is the difference. It's funny how some christians can demean and mock other people's beliefs when theirs is hardly very believable either. People in glasshouses, Nirvanaguy, blah,blah,blah.... So much for tolerance on your part. where is the philosophy of love and understanding advocated by Jesus? Ignorance indeed.
Well ive been to Ireland Never did see any Leprachauns. Seems to me that the only people who beleive in Leprachauns, are people outside of Ireland. Maybe we are the leprachauns ?

From some other poster I would have taken it as a good natured post but sadly I have read too many of NirvanaGuy's other posts to think him quite capable of seriously thinking one is ignorant to believe something he does not believe in. Red dot coming my way no doubt...

I owe you an apology, thought it was directed at me, since I post frequently in the religion forum myself. Sorry for the mix-up on my part And I am a Christian, but I dont take it personally when Im mocked...dont think the Leprechauns would either..especially since Im Irish...

Nope Arguy1973 ,I have absolutely nothing bad to say to you ! I believe all of us are free to believe in what we wish but I do find some posters a bit sanctimonious when it comes to other people's "weird" beliefs. As far as I'm concerned it 's all the same to me so I respect everybody's right to have faith in whatever they wish, as long as it does not harm anybody or gets in the way of my personal freedom. God, the Easter Bunny, Leprechauns, Aliens, Wood-Sprites, Ghosts,Smurfs, Sea Mosnters, etc... if it brings joy to people, gives them succour and comfort who am I to tell them they're wrong ( unless they try to ram their beliefs down my throat).
Feasgar math to you Irish brother.
