Today's Question(s):

What was the last situation or conversation where you felt you needed to "bite your tongue" ?
(purposely keep your mouth shut)

1. Saturday when we took my MIL to dinner for Mother's Day she was telling us about a new priest that was relocating to church near her -(my DH has asked that I not discuss religion with her, she is Catholic I am not)
2. Saturday when I got a call at 7:45 am from the buyers of my bosses house that the "pita" next door neighbor was at it again, however once the closing is over I will and plan to have plenty to say

Bonus Question:

Last time you were saying to yourself
"please don't invite me to come along" or "omg I hope they don't invite me to join them"
Saturday night after coming home from dinner when DH and I were discussing the dinner conversation
Did they ? Not yet
lol Did you ? I won't

Extra Credit Question:

What song would best describe your up coming week ?
lol "Here we go again" or "Merry-Go-Round"

Just for Fun:

Do you own a lawn mower ? Yes
How about the other "lawn maintenance accessories" ? lol got em all
edger ,weed whacker,blower ,tiller

Who uses them the most ? That would be me but DH helps with the mowing

If not who mows your lawn ? I am very particular about my lawn and gardens so won't bring in someone who I know won't do it as well

Happy Merry Monday morning...

Kwak that first question is so funny LOL I find I am in that situation frequently and my problems is I wag my tongue instead of biting it cause that can be painful. So now yall know I got a hyperactive tongue.

I typically enjoy being invited along now sometimes I hope I am not the designated driver or that I am not invited to do something I really don't want to.

"Groove Me Baby" hey there sugar dumplin let me tell u something boy I been trying to say- u look so sweet and u so dotgonn fine till I just can't get ya out my mind..." I am not sure of the title, but it is I think from the 60s (My mom used to listen to the oldies when I was a kid, so I am not sure of the title)- ats my song of the week...

I do have a lawn mower, but I have never used it.

Love and peace

Good morning!!
While your out grocery shopping this week think about picking up a few extra canned or non-perishable items for this coming Saturday's
United States Postal Service annual "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive
You can put everything in a sturdy bag next to your mailbox on Saturday and your mail carrier will pick it up

Thanks for reminding me.

What was the last situation or conversation where you felt you needed to "bite your tongue" ?
That would be this:
Geez...I made an oops last night. I posted on some other Solar forums in the off grid sections. I wanted to see what other systems people were using and how they lived. Simple enough right? Nope...everyone got all in a tizzy about our batteries...but they didn't have anything "concrete" to back it up. Hubby calls it the IBM mentality, lots of engineers do this. They cannot think outside the box. Things have to be exactly the way they are taught or it is wrong. Hubby and I are so not like that. And then the fight began, lol.

Sorry for the rant. I guess I will have to add another place to stay away from along with the Politics and Religious threads

Last time you were saying to yourself
"please don't invite me to come along" or "omg I hope they don't invite me to join them"

Nothing latley...but my granddaughter wants a repeat of last year's camping trip for her birthday. Hubby and I took her last year and she has an attention span of a gnat. It was not enjoyable.....and she wants to do it again this year

Did they ? She has invited herself
lol Did you ? Hubby and I are trying to change her mind.

What song would best describe your up coming week ? Maniac Yup..it's gonna be one of those weeks.

Do you own a lawn mower ? Of course. I mow the lawn around the house and the cows take care of the fields and mountain sides.
How about the other "lawn maintenance accessories" ? A weed eater and a blower.
Who uses them the most ? Me

Happy Monday

Today's Question(s):

What was the last situation or conversation where you felt you needed to "bite your tongue" ?
(purposely keep your mouth shut) Yesterday. This happens every time I visit DIL's mum. She constantly tells tales about things that happened to her years ago that I have absolutely no interest in. Yesterday, I was at the door, with the door partially opened trying to leave, and she was still going on and on about one of her sister's old, abusive boyfriends from 40 years ago--a tale I have heard countless time before. No, she has no memory deficits--she just likes to prattle on and on.

Bonus Question:

Last time you were saying to yourself
"please don't invite me to come along" or "omg I hope they don't invite me to join them" More often I am NOT invited to attend something I would like to be invited to--mostly because all the seats in their cars are already filled by others higher in the pecking order.

Did they ?
lol Did you ?
