Yay...roadtrip. We will be doing a few of those this summer....haven't decided where yet
Check the tires, the oil, and filler up
Don't forget the camera and the snacks
Don't forget the air, oil, and gas filters!!! Most people do.
Our truck monitors tire pressure and warns us if one is not correct. So I don't have to kick the tires, which I question. Why should I abuse those items I am relying on to get me somewhere safely?

Great tip Pam, but if I had to kick the tires I would probably break my toes. My car tells me if I need air and what tire it is. With that said it doesn't put air in them, I still have to do that myself
If going on a road trip with a fully laden car I'll pump them up for the heavier load. If it's at normal load I'll deflate them to that correct pressure.
That's a really great tip, Pam. And if Spam will shine your furniture, why I am sure it will work just as well on those rims and tires...make em look brand new...
I wonder, does it work for leather interior too? Squeaky car door hinges?

Some great tips here for anyone taking a road trip. Nothing worse than getting a flat in the middle of nowhere
My DH bought another present for me. An air compressor/emergency light/jump starter that plugs into the lighter. It's a good thing to have!
What he forgot to buy was a self inflating mechanic to fix the truck FOR me. Oh well, there's always my birthday!
