Thanks for the pointer on Canyon Lake Mike . Also i remember when i came down from Flagstaff on I-17 just as you start to enter the metro of Phoenix i could see a large lake to the right off the interstate as i believe that was Lake Pleasant?? as i could see people Jet Sking on it so how's that lake allthough i imagine it's real hot around the shoreline....

Yes 6/3, that is Lake Pleasant, but it's not really visible from I-17, because it's about 12 miles west of the interstate.

There is a new Bass Pro Shop, simlar to Cabela's in Rancho Cucamonga not to far from where you had lunch when you were here this month.

LOL.. Wow! thanks MotorMaker! I see it's around the Victoria's Garden mall also, which we didn't have time to visit when I was there!

We have a Bass Pro Shop in the Phoenix area also, it's in Mesa, and it's a longer drive to get to from my house. A friend of mine goes there and he likes it.
