This picture was taken on Thanksgiving weekend of 1998, my ex-girlfriend (Pam) and I, out in the desert about 30 miles northwest of Phoenix. It's amzaing, the older generation of digital cameras had a timer, that allow you to set it, and it could take the picture. As far as I know, both of my Cannon digital cameras (newer generation) don't have a timer. I have to look at the instruction books again to confirm that.
Yeah, I had some hair on the top of my head back then..
It has a self-timer. As new as yours is. Heck my old one was was a 2mp I got back in 2000 and it too, had one. But its symbolic, not labeled, you gotta look for that little 'clock' thing-y on your dial thing. Heck, even cellphones have self timers. I love my new digital but also still love my good ol' 35mm Olympus.

I'll have to look at both cameras again to find that "timer clock thingy"...
LOL ~ Mike,,,, it’s that little icon that looks like a ticky tock on the camera. Mine is on a multi-button on the back along with the one button that I won’t push. You know that one with a bolt of lightning ~ I’m afraid of what might happen.
You always have to set up the BIOS to look at the new device in the specific order you want it to boot in, and I know Windows will always ask you which drive you want to boot from also.
The Arizona Cardinals beat the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the play-offs!
True, I did explicitly configure the BIOS to tell it to look at all other drives first before going to the HDD. Oh well, I'll just live w/ it. Well, really, I need to upgrade my HDD from the 300 GB to the 1 TB one, but I just haven't had the time to swap HDDs and reinstall Windows and all my apps from scratch, install/update drivers, patches, etc.
oh god, I just went through some of the photos on here. I can't stop laughing. We need to get a slideshow of wulfie and his cross country adventure from beginning to end.
Any volunteers?
