Not sure if I was smiling or grimacing. It was in the mid 80's when we stopped for gas. I sort of smiled that the price had dropped to $3.189 a gallon but the really odd thing was someone going inside the station wearing a hooded sweat shirt. I did smile seeing snowy egrets doing a courting dance in the twilight when we were close to home.

That's awesome. I don't even remember the last time gas was $3.18 a gallon. I should check just for the heck of it. It's over $5.00 right now.
I ran into a very strange a friendly lady at the store whose personality was colorful. She asked if I were ready for Thanksgiving and I replied I was keeping it light just cooking turkey dressing and she said "that doesn't sound too lite, have u ever heard of the Volcano Buffet?" I said no and she said in with a Chinese accent "We open thanksgiving $10.99 all u can eat that's how u make holiday good for urself" I smiled and thought hey that sounds like a very wise idea. Maybe next time
I have been noticing couples lately...couples in love, fighting, pregnant, with kids....but it always makes me smile and I think ..thats how it should be. Used to make me sad not being in a couple but I don't feel that way anymore and that makes me smile.
