It was "one of those days" - go out to get the mail ~ phone rings ~ shut the door a bit harder than intended and the metal strip on the bottom of the door caught something and curled up - you had to feel under the door to find it.

The "No charge" is unheard of here so I was totally surprised and grateful.

I observed a bird party of 5 birds playing in a bird bath splashing each other

Smiles are more from what I'm hearing. Two cats chasing each other this morning. The little 8 pound Calico is pounding those tiny padded feet and sounds like a pony galloping through the house, back and forth, round and round. Cute!

Watching a proud father teach his young son ( 4yr-5yr ) how to ride a bike " with out training wheels"

I wish I could've taken a picture, but I didn't have a chance to pull over.

But I was driving through a downtown and saw a sign on a building door that said "Do Not Sit On Stoop - Police Take Notice".

I thought it was kind of funny. I know there are "No Loitering - Police Take Notice" signs, but this one just seemed so odd/original and I thought it was funny.

It's getting warmer out now and yesterday the dogs must have gotten a touch of spring fever. They were playing hard - harder than I'd ever seen them play and it lasted for hours. They chased each other out the dog door around the back yard, back into the housed, rough housed in the living room sounding like they were going to kill each other, chased down the hallway, around this wall, into the bedroom jumping and running across the foot of the bed and down again, back out to the living room, then out the dog door again and kept repeating doing this for hours. I was laughing so hard.

Then, they finally crashed. And this little snapshot of love just made me smile.

Oh, how sweet! Nice to have a cozy belly to rest the head!

My cats have been chasing each other round and round the same way but not for hours! Maybe it is spring fever!
